Halloween Witches shoe

Making little Halloween treat bags for my grand daughter are so much fun.  This is a two-sided witches shoe and in the center is a box that I made where the little treats will go.  The box is about 1/2" wide and about the length of the shoe.  This shoe could be used as a tag or filled with treats and hung on a Halloween tree, waiting for those trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.

The shoe was created by using an ole Sizzix Christmas Holiday Stocking die.  I cut out two stockings and two 3 1/2" circles and used a 1 3/4 " punch on the side of each circle to starting forming the shoe.  Each circle was glued  on the front of the stockings to form the witches shoe.  I cut around the bottom of the stocking to make the heel of the shoe.  A Spellbinder embossing folder was used on each side of the shoe before gluing each shoe on the box which is now hidden on the inside of the shoe.

The shoe buckles and bow were made using orange gingham with the black stitching ribbon from
Really Reasonable Ribbon.com.  I used flat white pearls for the shoelace holes and colored the pearls with a black Copic Marker.  I really love the ribbons and flower products that are sold on Really Reasonable Ribbon.com and their products are very affordable.   I made this bow using the Zutter Bow-It-All V2 which really helps me  make my bows look much better than before I had a bow maker.  I have been recommending this bow maker since I got mine.  Really Reasonable Ribbon carries the Zutter Bow-It-All V2.

Black glitter was added to the top spider web and silver Stickles glue was on the inside spider web.
Orange Ranger Liquid Pearls was added to the top of the shoe.

The spider's head was made from a round white pearl that was colored with black Copic Marker  and before the google eyes were added.  The spider's legs are made with one black and white ribbon that was cut a few times and glued on the back of the head.   This ribbon is also carried by Really Reasonable Ribbon.com.

This is the other side of the shoe.  I used purple card stock for the spider web on this side.  The orange ribbon on top is also from Really Reasonable Ribbon.com. A star brad was added to hold the orange ribbon in place so that this shoe could be hung.

The Happy Halloween and Spider Web are dies from Cherry Lynn Designs.  The orange lace was cut using the Cherry Lynn Design Anastasia Border die and folded several times to look like gathered lace.

The spiders on this side of the shoe are some plastic spiders that can be bought at a store during Halloween.

This card will be entered in the following challenges:
Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #127:  Halloween With Ribbon or Trim
Dies R Us Challenge #34:  Get Your Boo On Halloween
