Angel Watching Over Us

I bought the Whimsy Stamp Lullaby and thought this picture of this cute little angel watching over this bird and keeping it safe and warm from the cold winter weather would be good for a friend who is in the hospital for a life-threatening condition.

I colored the image with colored pencils using a eraser to blend rather than Copic markers this time for a pure pastel.  I applied Ranger Lace glitter glue to the snow and the angel's wing.  It is hard to see that I applied a clear glitter embossing powder to a Sue Wilson Maidenhair fern cut with vellum to give the fern the icy appearance.  This fern is behind the bow.  I used just some white ribbon rose flowers this time for a softer look.

Supplies used:
Ribbon:  Really Reasonable Ribbon.com   White Sheer Organza with Satin Center

Dies are from Scrapy Land that sells 40 name brands of dies and supplies.
Cheery Lynn Designs:  B635 Snowflake Set 2
Creative Expression - Sue Wilson Designs - Snowflake Corner, Tag, Dandelion  and Maidenhair fern
Lawn Fawn:  Mini Snowflakes
Paper:  Graphic 45 and Bazzill
Stamp:  Stampendous
Snow:  Stampendous Deep Impression embossing enamel
Impression Obsession:  Sprig set
Marianne Designs:  Bird, Fence, Birdhouse set
Whimsy Stamp:  Lullaby
Hat pin:  Make my own
White ribbon rose flowers

The little angel and sentiment are wonderful for someone in the hospital, Nancy. I hope your friend recovers completely, and has no problems after coming home. The lavender in your card, and the EP used around the image are both striking! It's gorgeous in every way! hugs, de
