Tattered Lace Nautical dies

Welcome back and I hope you are enjoying our new challenge with Scrapy Land Blog this week - 'Anything Goes'. Come see what our wonderful Scrapy Land designers have posted to share with you.

Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.  I am excited to share with you my card with two new Tattered dies from Scrapy Land, the Sailing Ship and Compass.

Tattered Lace Compass

Tattered Lace Sailing Ship

I embossed the Sue Wilson Designs Double Pierced Square frame with a variety of colors to give it the antique, worn out look.  I glued on rope on the frame and added a brad in the middle of the compass.  I colored the compass with Copic markers and embossed part of the compass with bronze Ranger Metal Art embossing powder.  I has to use an embossing pin on the compass before embossing it.

I didn't have a good white colored pen so I used white liquid typing eraser for the ship.

Supplies used:
Graphic 45 card stock
Red and Ivory Plaid ribbon
Old button from supplies
Other pattern paper from my old supplies.

Thank you for joining us at Scrapy Land and keep visiting the
Scrapy Land Face Book and Scrapy Land Blog to continue to see the wonderful projects and cards that the designers have for you.  Come join the fun and post your card.

Can't wait to see what you have created for our current challenge at Scrapy Land -Emboss It.  Also, a big Thank You for all of you who have visited the designers blogs and left comments.  We really appreciate all of you!!!

I am entering this card at Frilly and Funkie Challenge - By The Sea
