Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 165 - Thank You
I wanted to use the Christmas colors for this card since it will be for thanking a friend for Christmas presents.
The doily die is my favorite Cherry Lynn DL153 Polynesian Sails Oval that I use often on many cards.
The small and larger red glitter paper flowers are from the Cherry Lynn B364 Baby's Breath Flower Kit die. The smaller baby breaths were glued in the center of each flowers on the doily. The leaves above the doily is from the Cherry Lynn B178 Flourish Leaf Strip and CL B304 Ivy Strip leaves and green glitter was glued on the leaves.
The 'Thank You' is from Cherry Lynn B320 using the larger saying.

Cherry Lynn Challenge #160 - Non-Traditional Christmas Colors
I enjoyed making this Christmas card yesterday with no idea how it will turn out using a very difficult stamp that rarely comes out well. This is the Silent Night Impression stamp from Paper Inspiration and I had success using the Tsukinek Slate Gray dye ink after trying numerous other inks for this particular stamp. I distress the edges of the stamp with Stampin Up Crumb Cake ink to make it look like it was a picture from an old painting of Mary and Jesus.
The Merry Christmas saying is from Cherry Lynn with the snowflakes cut off and used antique gold glitter paper with some brown color added to make it look antique. The corners are from the Cherry Lynn Lace Deco Corner Set. I added a charm saying Jesus between Merry and Christmas.
The frame is from Die'Sire Create-A-Card called Decandence and the backing of the frame is a metallic bronze color paper. The flourish behind Merry Christmas is from Memory Box.

Cherry Lynn Challenge - Tags #159
I started with the CL French Pastry doily and added the small CL Merry Christmas saying which comes in two sizes. Using red glitter paper, I cut out the poinsettia and used green paper for the branches using the CL Christmas Candle Light die leaving out the candles. I cut out a second poinsettia and branch from the CL Christmas Candle Light die from photo paper that I colored in pink for the poinsettia and green for the branches and glued it on bottom of the red CL Christmas Candle Light die which gives the poinsettia a realistic look. I added a bow from the Cottage Cutz Holly Wreath die and added gold glitter in the middle of the bow as well as using the gold glitter in the middle of the poinsettia.
Cherry Lynn dies:
French Pastry Doily DL102
Merry Christmas saying B186
Christmas Candle Light DL 174

Cherry Lynn Blog Challenge - Black and White
I love making Halloween and autumn cards. My nephew was born on Halloween and will have his 4th birthday soon..
I used the Cherry Lynn Step Card and Cherry Lynn Spider doily dies for this card. The other spider webs on the sides were from the Martha Stewart Spider Web punch. Inside of the card, I used a Stampin Up spider web folder and Martha Stewart torn page punch. I love the Cottage Cutz Number Candle die using the number 4 in front and inside of the card and I used glitter to make a candy corn looking number. I used the Tattered Lace Elegant Alphabet die letters on the front of the card.
The rest of the embellishments were from ole stocks of supplies saved for Halloween.

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 151 - Die Cut Flowers
Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 151 - Die Cut Flowers
First day of fall and I wanted to do an autumn card for my sister. I had a lot of fun creating these leaves out of my Cherry Lynn leaf die as well as McGill punch for the maple leaf. First I cut them out and applied the fall colors to the leaves. Second, I pressed the leaves on a Versa Mark pad before adding clear embossing powder. After using the hot embossing gun, I would shape the leaves again. The leaves on the left top is from Cherry Lynn Flourish Leaf Strip B179..
The flowers were made using the Cherry Lynn Shasta Daisy B310. I used autumn gold glitter paper to cut out the daisies. I applied rustic colors to the edge and then pressed the flowers on a Versa mark pad before adding clear embossing powder. I found out that if I didn't use the embossing powder on this paper, the ink would easy rub off. I colored the center of the flower using a green Copic Marker. The center of the flower is the circle from the Cherry Lynn Maron's Wedding Garland DL218. I cut the centers out and rubbed the center with Versa mark and added a brown and red embossing powder.
The branches in the flower arrangement is the Memory Box Woodland branch die.
I used the Marianne Design LR0279 for the center frame of the picture from Wee Stamps colored with Copic markers. The saying "Thinking of You" is a Marianne Collectable stamp as well as the Marianne Collectable die to cut for the label below. The outer frame is a Spellbinder decorative frame.

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 146 - Doilies
I have two Cherry Lynn doilies on this baby girl card: the Polynesian Sails Oval DL153 and the Manon's Wedding Garland DL218. I found the template on-line for the baby girl dress.
I used both of the doilies from the Polynesian Sails Oval. I cut the small Polynesian Sails Oval die doily in half and used it for the collar and some the other half and cut it out and used it for the trim on the arms of the blouse. The large doily from the Polynesian Sails Oval was cut and used for the bottom as the pink lace on the baby girl dress.
I used the Manon's Wedding Garland doily and cut it and used it for the white lace on the bottom of the dress.
I embossed the dress with an dotted embossing folder and had some ribbon roses that I used on the dress.

Cherry Lynn Challenge #137 - Keep It Krafty
Cherry Lynn Challenge #137 - Keep It Krafty
There is a few tutorials that I followed making this Box Card.
I used Kraft card stock for the base of my Box Card and sponged it with rose red and used Graphic 45 paper on both sides of this card. I cut two Graphic 45 roses from the paper and used a McGill flower tool to mold it on the inside and only glued the rim of the rose to bring out an embossing look to accent the roses and glued my Cherry Lynn Baby Breathe flowers on the outside of these roses.
I made the lower rose using the Cherry Lynn medium rose die and surrounded it with the Cherry Lynn leaf and Cherry Lynn ivy leaf. The black and white doily frame is from the Cherry Lynn Polynesian die. The corners in the card is from the Cherry Lynn Deco. I used the Cherry Lynn saying "Celebrate".

Cherry Lynn Challenge - Creative Corners
This was my first easel card that I have ever made.
I made all of the flowers from the Cherry Lynn dies and all of the centers were made using the Cherry Lynn Build A Flower #1. The following Cherry Lynn flower dies were used to create these flowers:
B433 Small Gardenia Strip (made into the red rose)
B310 Shasta Daisy Strip (yellow and white daisy flowers),
B364 Baby Breathe flowers,
B307 Sweet William flowers (purple)
B241 Cherry Lynn Rose Leaf Strip, and B178 Cherry Lynn Flourish Leaf Strip . I used the Cherry Lynn sayings, "Sister" and "Hugs" and cut the "ter" off Sister.
Cherry Lynn Deco Corners B and Cherry Lynn Deco Corner E
The Paper came from Graphic 45 Secret Garden which I would recommend. The flowery frame is from the Martha Stewart Flower Punch around the page. I made the lady bugs from the Ranger Pearl black and red.
The frame is a Spellbinder Decorative frame.

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 135 - Red, White and Blue
I wasn't sure what I had in Cherry Lynn for a patriotic red, white and blue card. It took me a while since I didn't have a complete idea on how this card will look so I started with the Cherry Lynn Cape Cod DL 250 doily and made a red white and blue flag from the Sizzix die and cut out red and blue circles. After gluing the circle and doily, I cut the it in half and glued the flag in the center. The doily and flag looked better on the Cherry Lynn Step Card B348 than other card shapes that I tried out.
I cut out the bear with the flag, stars, the red, white and blue frame and "God Bless America" from an ole 4th of July Darice printed paper. I used paper came from my scraps to make the rest of the card. I cut out two fireworks which is on top left and curled and glued on top of the other to give it some dimension. I added Stickle glue on the printed fireworks, stars and on the bear's hat to add sparkle.

Cherry Lynn Manly Challenge 133
Cherry Lynn Manly Challenge: I had a lot of fun making this but the idea came from another person's tutorial about how to create this paper and fishing vest. My Cherry Lynn Dies were the sayings: Dream Big, Happy, and Birthday.
I created the camouflaged paper by using the Stampin Up colored Crumb Cake paper and used the following colored inks with a sponge: olive, mustard, brown. I stamped the paper using the same ink colors using leaf stamps and used my Copic Marker brown to draw the branch on the paper and used a white ink pen before cutting this out to create this fishing vest.
