Rawsome 2

Welcome back and Nancy, here, to share with you some fun cards to make for that special person.  I just love working with Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and paper collection like the Lawn Fawn Rawrsome stamp set that I used for this card along with the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel and other Lawn Fawn dies..

Lawn Fawn Rawrsome Stamp Set

I love making these  Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel   cards with Lawn Fawn stamp and die collections and so will you.  Lawn Fawn has a wonderful reveal wheel tutorial and I suggest that you watch this before adventuring out to make your first reveal wheel card.  Over the past several cards, I modified it just a little to fit each card but basically it is the same.  I would suggest finding flattest brad you can find for the circle in the wheel so that you don't get much of a warp in the center of the card.  Using a fatter 3D foam tape inside the reveal wheel helps to correct the warpness from the effects of the brad.

Lawn Fawn Simply Puffy Clouds

I just love these cut little Lawn Fawn Simply Puffy Clouds, Lawn Fawn Stitched Mountains Border and Lawn Fawn Grassy Border for many of my cards.

Lawn Fawn Stitched Mountains Border and Lawn Fawn Grassy Border
Below, I made a fun explosion card using the Lawn Fawn Rawsome stamp set.  I fussy cut the dinosaurs since I didn't want any white edges and colored these dinosaurs with Copic Markers.  I sponged on Ranger Distress Tumbled Glass ink and  Lawn Fawn Sunflower Yellow ink to create the sky.

I always highly recommend using a stamp tool like the Tim Holtz or My Sweet Petunia Misti stamp tool for all of your stamping to save time, money and get the top quality of stamping that you need for all of your cards and scrap book pages.  Research it out to get the right one for you and don't go small but start with at least a 6 x 8 or larger stamping surface.  I use the 6 x 8" but wish I purchased the 12" x 12" Misti stamp tool.

So have fun crafting this weekend with these products.  My cards and projects are always posted on Saturday.  Keep watching and thank you so much for those wonderful comments as well as suggestions.

Golden Anniversary card

I used the Sue Wilson Swirling Heart embossing folder with the Tattered Lace Celebrate Heart die.  I printed out the sentiment.  I added a handmade bow and used a rhinestone heart with a rose in the center.

Jump for Joy 1

You'll jump for joy with this cute Lawn Fawn Jump For Joy Stamp set of critters and fall leaves! I created a fun fall scene with critters leaping into a pile of leaves, and stamping little smiles into the leaves for an extra happy card!  I colored these critters with Copic Markers and used scissors to cut them out rather than the Lawn Fawn Jump for Joy die set that is available with this collection.
I love this simple Lawn Fawn Tree Backdrop die with lots of leaves to choose from to create the perfect tree for any season. I used the  the stitched semi-oval shape behind the tree from this set with sponged Ranger Distress inks for a quick leafy tree top. I adhered the little leaves on the end of the branches for a more detailed tree.
I created the hillside with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside border and stamped the sentiments using the Lawn Fawn Jump For Joy Stamp set.

I sponged on Ranger Distress Ink Tumbled Glass on the Photo Play Plaid Fall Paper pad and also used another patterned paper to frame the card. I cut out white cardstock and sponged on warm colors of Ranger Distress inks to coordinate with the plaid paper.

Women Steampuck

Hope you are having a good harvest whether it is in your garden or farm or just crafting!
Sizzix 3D Tim Holtz Mechanic Embossing Folder and Stamperia Voyages Fantastique paper

I have two cards made with these products that I would like to share with you this crafty weekend.

I had a sheet in my piling stash of old paper of gold mirror foil and embossed it with the Sizzix 3D Tim Holtz Mechanic Embossing Folder. (Bottom left corner has been embossed without any wax or gesso added yet)  As shown on the bottom right corner, use a brush to apply the Prima Marketing Finnabair Black Gesso over the entire sheet.  If you use a brush and tap it on, you will get more of a rustic appearance rather than brushing it smoothly.   I used my hot embossing gun to dry the black gesso.  I used the Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Sparks Dragon Eyes along with the Prima Marketing Metallique Aged Brass, Rich Copper and Red Amber.  Occasionally, I used a dry wipe to spread or remove any excess colors.

I cut out the edges of the embossed section before gluing and adding the gears that were also covered with black gesso and various colors if these Prima Marketing Metallique waxes.  I used a hot glue gun to adhere the gears to the card and used the Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced Glue for the rest of the card especially the cut out tag from the Stamperia Voyages Fantastique paper pad.

For the female card,  I added a chipboard with these Prima Marketing Metallique waxes to frame the tag.  I found an ole metal flower and wings from a necklace and applied white gesso on the flower and let dry before applying the Prima Marketing Metallique waxes.   I cut out another frame from the paper pad behind the embossed paper.

For the male card, I found a small flash light bulb in my drawer and added it to the card.  I added the Prima Marketing Melange Vintage Art Pebble to this card with a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Muse Token and Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Finnabair Mechanical set on the corner.

I sponged on the Ranger Distress Antique Linen ink to the tags and chipboard of Tim Holtz Quotes Chipboards to blend theses into the embossed card.

I had so much fun making these cards and hope you will too.  So have fun crafting this weekend with these products.   My cards and projects are always posted on Saturday.  Keep watching and thank you so much for those wonderful comments as well as suggestions.
