Lawn Fawn Dies #2

Welcome back and Nancy, here.  Valentine's Day is February 14 and just around the corner.
I made this Valentine's shaker card using the adorable Magnolia Stamp Tilda With Dot Bow along with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackable Frame

Lawn Fawn Be My Valentine Border Cut
The card is made with the gorgeous  Lemon Craft Sweet Secrets cardstock.

Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackable Frame
To make the shaker box, I used the smallest die in this die set and cut two with white cardstock, one with solid pink cardstock and one with clear acrylic sheet.  I glued the acrylic to back of one white scallop frame and added the 3D foam. I used spray glue for the Lawn Fawn Be My Valentine Border  white cardstock  to adhere to the front of the pink cardstock.  I added the sequins before tearing the back of the Scrapybook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares  to adhere it to the other white scallop frame to complete the shaker box.  I used the Beacon 3 n 1 Advanced glue to adhere the back of the shaker box onto the card.  I cut out the Magnolia girl and adhered it to the top of the shaker box with this clear glue.
I adhered the shaker box and Magnolia Stamp to the beautiful Lemon Craft Sweet Secrets paper.  Isn't this a gorgeous paper collection.

I added Cheery Lynn border die around the card and doily dies behind the shaker box.

I finished the card with Venice Lace and a pink bow with a heart embellishment tied into the bow.  I cut out four scallop borders and glued behind the card.

Valentines Card with Stamping Bella

Welcome back and Nancy, here, to share with you my Valentines card made with the adorable Stamping Bella - Lucille Sends Her Love.  This is a beautiful stamp that could be used with so many  other occasions such as birthdays, get well or thinking of you cards.

I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp her on white cardstock and  colored her with Copic Markers and used Sparkles N Sprinkles loose clear glitter on the hearts using a glue pen.

I actually and cut out the sentiment "Sending You Oodles of Love" in half and stamped it with a stamping platform tool with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and used an oval punch to cut out each saying. If you don't have a stamping platform tool and just use a stamp block, I would highly recommend investing in a stamping platform tool to get that right inked image before coloring it.   I used a black Copic Marker to ink the edges of each oval before gluing it onto the card.
Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackable Frame
I used the largest of the rectangles in the Lawn Fawn rectangle frame set and cut it out with pink cardstock.  I used the same die and cut it out with white cardstock and then cut the outside stitched edges and adhered with tape on the back to the pink frame before using the Beacon 3 n 1 Advanced glue to adhere it onto the card.
 Lemon Craft Sweet Secrets
I adhered the frame and image to the beautiful Lemon Craft Sweet Secrets paper.  I finished the card with Venice Lace, a plaid bow and the gorgeous Wild Orchid Craft Sweet Blossom and Wild Orchid Craft 15 mm pink roses.

Special Delivery by an Angel

Welcome and Nancy Hill, here to share with you a birthday card made with the adorable Magnolia Stamps with the beautiful Wild Rose Craft paper collection. This stamp would also be beautiful on a Christmas card. The Rubber Buggy carries all of the name-brand products and supplies for your special project and cards.

In this blog, I really want to stress the technique of using the Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper for stamping over another stamp like the Magnolia Stamp A Little Gift Tilda over the Magnolia Stamp Waiting For Christmas - Snowy Branch stamp.  It comes in 12 sheets and I like saving my stamped mask paper cut outs to use again for other cards.

1.  Stamp Tilda on the blue side of the masking sheet and cut it out.  Also, stamp Tilda on the white cardstock but won't need to color until you have stamped the branch.  If you prefer, you can reverse this stamping process and use the branch on the masking sheet but I prefer Tilda since it is easier to cut her out.
2.  Remove the blue masking sheet on Tilda and tape it on the white cardstock taped with Tilda.  Using a stamping platform for the branch stamp, re ink the branch stamping over Tilda a couple of times until you get the desired ink. Remove the blue Tilda masking tape and now you are ready to color Tilda and the branch.

I stamped the Wild Rose Studio Christmas Labels stamp and used a scallop punch to punch the label out.  I used the beautiful Wild Rose Studio Birds & Berries paper pad for this card along with snowflake dies and lace.  I handmade a bow and added a Wild Orchid Craft white rose in the center.
I hope I have inspired you try out these products available at The Rubber Buggy on-line store.  My cards and projects are always posted on Saturday.  Keep watching and thank you so much for those wonderful comments as well as suggestions.

Male Mixed Media Birthday Card

Welcome back and excited to share a mixed media birthday card for my brother with all of the wonderful products of Tim Holtz-Idea-ology and Prima Marketing from The Rubber Buggy.
My card measures 6" x 7".  I started with embossing some metallic brown paper with the Tim Holtz/Sizzix 3-D Mechanic Embossing Folder and colored the paper using Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Ginger Sparks and some of the Prima Marketing waxes listed below.  I love using the Prima Marketing waxes since it provides a nice metallic sheen on this paper along with the Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Ginger Sparks. I just use my fingers to smear these waxes and Sparks on the paper and gears.   I first applied the black gesso in the Prima Marketing Finnabair Art Basic Mixed Media Essentials Gesso Sets on the gears and screws and let dry before applying the waxes and Sparks.

I typed the sentiment on my computer and printed it out on cream card stock.  I applied the Tim Holtz Distress Collage Medium Vintage cream using my fingers on the cream paper along with Tim Holtz Distress Antique Linen ink using a sponge on the edges.  I used a sewing machine to sew around the edges before gluing it with the Beacon 3 in 1 Advanced Glue onto the card and then use a hot glue gun for the gears and screws onto the card.

Gus - Fish Whisperer names Gustine

I made this humorous card using the Sparkles N Sprinkles Gus-Fish Whisperer digi stamp for a girl's card.  I printed it out and colored it with Copic Markers and used a NUVO White gloss pen for the dots on her shorts.  I drew the black plaid on the fishing vest with a black Sharpie pen .  Also, I used the Sparkles N Sprinkles loose clear glitter on the hat.  I used the Cheery Lynn dies for the frame around the image and Heartfelt Creation's SunFlower patterned paper collection the the outside frame.  I drew the grass and flowers with Copic Markers on the bottom of her feet.

Stamping Bella-Eval Loves to Celebrate

Welcome back and Merry Christmas to you!  I am excited to share my Christmas cards along with a birthday card to someone who will be having a birthday right after Christmas.  I used the Stamping Bella-Uptown Girls-Eva Loves to Celebrate stamp using Poppy Stamp Dies-Merry Christmas Banner and Lawn Fawn nestabilities and Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday border Dies.

On the birthday card, I stamped Eva on the Wild Rose Studio paper besides the white cardstock and just cut out the lower part of her dress of the patterned paper.  I glued light green ribbon on the bottom of her dress.  I molded the back of her dress with my fingers before gluing the edges of the dress onto the card to give it that puffy appearance.  I colored her with copic markers.  The card to the right, I colored her with Copic Markers and used NUVO White Gloss drops on the lacey part of her dress, head band and cake.

Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday Border die
I used the Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday Border die for bottom of the Happy Birthday card. I just cut off the 'To You' from the die cut and glued Happy Birthday on the card. I used the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackables dies for the frame.

I really want to mention that the NUVO Silver Moon Drops are stunning on cards.  It looks like glitter in glass.  I used this NUVO Silver Moon drops with the gold drops on the card to the right
The right side card, I used red felt fabric.  I just stamped Eva on white cardstock and cut out her dress to use as a patterned on the red felt fabric.  I used a white pen to put dots on the felt fabric.  I used the NUVO White Gloss drops to both of the cards.

Happy Birthday Card wit Stamperia

Welcome back and Nancy Hill, here.  Hope you have a wonderful 2019.  Now it is time to start planning those beautiful birthday cards and projects for this new year.
Occasionally, I love trying to achieve the shabby chic for some of my projects for a change of style.  I love the Stamperia Flower Alphabet Paper Collection that coordinates well with the Maja Design - Sofiero Collection - Ephemera to create this shabby chic card and envelope.  I typed and printed the birthday sentiment and cut it out with a scallop punch and adhered it with the Beacon 3 in 1 Advanced clear glue.  I added Wild Orchid Mulberry flowers on the envelope and a small scissor jewelry embellishment on the bottom of the flowers.  Behind the photo is a Cheery Lynn Design Scallop doily die cut out with white shimmer cards
Stamperia Flower Alphabet Paper Collection

I have a small collection of the Lemoncraft Vintage Time Label sheets like the one shown below (Lemoncraft Vintage Time Label 021) available to cut out butterflies for my cards and projects.  I used a Zig Memory Stella Brush Glitter Marker - Clear to coat the butterfly with glitter to accent the butterfly.  I use this glitter marker almost on all of my projects and cards on the patterned papers, flowers and other embellishments to add a small glitter sheen like shown on the photo above.
