Graphic 45 Imagine Gift Box

Welcome back and I would love to share a keepsake gift box that I made for my niece's birthday.  It will be filled with chocolates, jewelry, and other items.
I am having a lot of fun experimenting with the mixed media products from Prima Marketing and Tim Holtz along with the gorgeous paper collections that are all available from The Rubber Buggy. The top of the box was made using the gorgeous new Graphic 45 Imagine paper.  I just love this collection from Graphic 45 Imagine.
I used Prima Marketing self-adhesive tape and Beacon 1-2-3 glue to adhere this gorgeous paper on top of the box. I took some lace and colored it with stamping ink of rust and cream ink colors.  I used a hot glue gun to adhere the lace and all of the embellishments on the box.  You can see the gorgeous Prima Marketing Crystals around the top of the box.

Since I didn't have the rest of the Graphic 45 Imagine collection, I used other Graphic 45 papers to cover the rest of the box.  This paper matched very well of the Graphic 45 Imagine, especially the fairies that look like the fairies on top of the box.

I covered the back of the box with Graphic 45 Imagine - Adventure Beckon and the rest with the other Graphic 45 papers.
Below, is the bottom of the box. I always like using my stamp to autographic my cards and projects.
Below, I covered the gears with the Prima Marketing Clear Gesso and then colored the gears and clock with the wonderful Prima Marketing Waxes of Copper, Red Amber, Brass and Prima Marketing Dragon Sparks.  I applied with a hot glue gun the Prima Marketing Crystals around the top of the box.  I love the gold in the pink and blue crystals.  You can see one crystal on her cheek and the other crystals in the gears and on the clock.  The gears, clock and token are from Tim Holtz.
I handmade the foamiran flowers using cream foamiran and sponged on red and orange water-based crayons.  I colored the metal butterfly with the Prima Marketing Dragon Eye Sparks and Prima Marketing Rich Copper Wax. The metal corner is from Tim Holtz and colored with Prima Marketing waxes.
The metal flower is from the Prima Marketing - Finnabair Mechanicals Metal Flower Embellishments  and colored with Prima Marketing Art Alchemy - Metallique Wax - Rich Copper and Prima Marketing Art Alchemey - Antique Brilliance Red Amber wax.  The stamens of the flower was colored with the Prima Marketing Acrylic Paint Sparks - Dragon Eye which adds a touch of shine to the stamens.

Stamperia Precious Paper Collection

Welcome back to The Rubber Buggy blogs and I can't wait to share with you this gorgeous Stamperia Precious paper pad collection adhered to  this unfinished wooden box using the Prima Marketing 1" tape, glue and a hot glue gun. The gorgeous knob is from the Prima Marketing-New Orleans-Antique Knobs collection.   You will want this Stamperia Precious 12" x 12" cardstock for your next project or card.  You can get all of the wonderful supplies when you shop on-line at The Rubber Buggy.com.
I made these foam flowers using the LeCrea Design Foam Flower sheet with the peony (middle flower) cut out and shaped using the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Peony Die.  The gorgeous butterfly was cut out from the Lemon Craft Vintage Time Label #022 and I used the NUVO Aqua Shimmer Glitter Pen on the butterfly and some of the flowers on the patterned paper to bring out the colors.  I love the Graphic 45 Staples Square Tag and Clock die set.  I just used the outer frame of this die set and cut it out with a gold metallic cardstock.
I painted the box first with Vaspar paint that was left over from painting a room and then covered the inside of the box with the gorgeous collection of papers in the Stamperia Precious papers.  I used glue and some double sided Prima Marketing Memory Hardware 1" tape to adhere the paper to the wood.  I used the Prima Marketing Memory Hardware tape to adhere the Venice Lace around the box.  Below the frame, I stenciled the gorgeous roses with the Tim Holtz Rose Stencil with the Prima Marketing Art Alchemy - Opal Magic - Rose/Gold paint.
This gorgeous coordinating envelope and note card is all in the Stamperia Precious paper pad.  I cut it out and adhered it in the box.  I will add a little note to wish my granddaughter a happy birthday.

Planner with Grapic 45

Welcome back Rubber Buggy bloggers.  Hi, Nancy Hill with the Rubber Buggy Design Team.  The Rubber Buggy on-line store has new products and supplies coming in each week. Due to the popular demand for these gorgeous supplies and products, these will sell quickly.  Make sure to check these out often and get your order in quickly before these are sold out.

I bought a planner and applied the gorgeous coordinating Graphic 45 papers, dies, chipboard and cardstock to the cover of this planner as well as throughout parts of the planner to personalize this for my daughter-in-law.  The shabby chic style would not be complete without flowers that were handmade using the LeCrea foam flower sheets cut out from the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die set, Venise lace and Tim Holtz Idea-ology vintage metal trinkets.
I just love the Graphic 45 coordinating papers and chipboard. I used the Prima Marketing 1" wide adhesive tape to adhere the Graphic 45 to the planner cover on the back and front.   I used a variety of my Graphic 45 papers and love the old Graphic 45 Ladies' Diary image in the center of the Graphic 45 Staples Square Tag and Clock Die  set that was cut out with metallic gold cardstock and used spray adhesive glue to apply it on the patterned Graphic 45 paper.
I handmade the foam flowers from the LeCrea Flower Foam-Salmon with the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die set.  I used the medium and smaller size rose dies.  This time, I didn't use a hot iron for the foam since it wasn't shaping as well because this is a smaller flower.  Seems like the iron works well with large petals but not these small ones.  I used a dry baby wipe to rub the red color in the Prima Marketing Soft Pastel Oil on the edges of each petal on both sides.  Then I  rolled each petal and shaped it with my fingers.  I used a hot glue gun to glue the flower together.  I used the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die set to cut out the leaves from the LeCrea Foam Flower green sheet.  I used the same technique as the petals for coloring the leaves and used the Prima Marketing Soft Pastels Oils reds along with lighter greens along the edges of the leaves.
I cut out the picture of my grandchildren and family and put it in the Tim Holtz Idea-logy Pocket Watch (Frame 2). I rubbed with my fingers the Prima Marketing Rich Copper wax on the watch, key hole and Tim Holtz metal word banner.

No vintage or shabby chic style would not be complete without ribbon or lace.  I love the Venise Lace on my vintage/shabby chic projects.  I adhered the Venise Lace with Prima Marketing 1" wide adhesive tape.   I added ribbon to the binder along with the Graphic 45 chipboard.

Throughout the planner, I added the Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe Journalizing/Ephemera cards and a personal pictures to personalize this for her.
