April Blog Hop

I am Nancy and you should be coming to my blog from Bonnie.   Wasn't her card just beautiful.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has an exciting blog hop from our creative designer with this gorgeous April's Ribbon Club Assortment for you.

I am using the one ribbon in this assortment, 3/8" Shell Print On Red Satin  for the ribbon that was weaved on a 4" square.

3/8" Shell Print on Red Satin Ribbon
3/8" Shell Print on Red Satin
The red satin ribbon with the shell print is also solid red on the other side.  I cut each ribbon at 4" and weaved one side printed and the other side the solid ribbon on a 4 " square paper with 1"  Scor-Tape in the center to hold the weave.  After all of the ribbon was woven, I used Scor-Tape on the edge of the square to attach the remaining ends of the ribbon.  I added 3mm flat back pearls to the ribbon in the heart.

I used  5/8" Satin With Grosgrain Edge White for the bow with the rhinestone heart ribbon slider buckle.  This bow was made using the Zutter Bow It All bow maker and attached to the card with 1/2" wide Scor-Tape which all were purchased from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I cut a 5 x 5 square of white glimmer paper and cut a heart in the center and embossed this square.   I added the Cheery Lynn Design, Heart-to-Heart largest die in this set to the embossed paper and then glued the square with the ribbon behind the heart.  The next layer is red mirror paper behind the background and then another layer of white glimmer paper.

1.5" Red Netting
The flower was made from a Sue Wilson Camellia flower set and I cut small circles of Really Reasonable Ribbon Red Netting and glued each circle in between each petal to give it a lacy appearance.

Other supplies:
Sue Wilson Camellia Flower Die Set
Sue Wilson Lace Edge Leaves Die Set
Cheery Lynn Heart-to-Heart Doily Die Set
Sue Wilson Pierced Rectangle Squares Die Set
We R Memory Keepers Next Level Wave Embossing Folder
Red Mirror Card Stock
Snow White Glimmer Paper
Rhine Stone Heart Ribbon Slider Buckle
