I am Nancy and it is time for the exciting March Blog Hop. You should be coming to my blog from Bonnie. Wasn't her card just beautiful.
Really Reasonable Ribbon has a selection of gorgeous ribbon in March's Ribbon Club.
I made this pocket card to fit four book markers that will be given to each of my grand children in this family. I had a lot of fun thinking about what papers and ribbons for each of my tags since there re one boy and three girls in this family.
I made this pocket card to fit four book markers that will be given to each of my grand children in this family. I had a lot of fun thinking about what papers and ribbons for each of my tags since there re one boy and three girls in this family.
The gorgeous ribbon for the bow is the 5/8" Diamond Satin Apple Green with a 8mm ribbon slider buckle. I made this bow with the Zutter Bow-It-All bow maker and able to slide the ribbon in the middle of the bow before tying the ribbon in back of the bow while still in the bow maker. I attached the bow to the card using the 3/8" Scor-Tape from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The tags were made with Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Collection paper and a Stampin Up tag punch. Each tag has the same poem "Foot Prints in the Sand" on the back. The front of the tag has the Heart Felt Creations Cross and Lily die with the Cheery Lynn Designs Polynesian Sails Oval Doily. These ribbons were attached to the tag with a pearl brad:

I folded white cardstock paper and cut out the Heart Felt Creation Decorative Bloom Corner die and glued it to the back of the pocket card so that this card will stand upward. My daughter is able to display this card on her fireplace mantle or the bookshelf during Easter time with this stand attached to the back of the card.
