Happy Birthday with the Tattered Lace Essential Book die set

I am so excited to share with you this gorgeous Tattered Lace Die-Essential-Book.  I have been wanting this die set for a long long time- meaning a year now - and looked around but hard to find.  The Rubber Buggy on-line store was able to  get this die set in this month after and if you don't act fast, the Tattered Lace Die-Essential Book will be sold out fast and especially at this reasonable price that The Rubber Buggy is selling it for at this time.
BELIEVE ME!

Just look at how many dies are in this set and the gorgeous scrap book pages and cards that you can make.  For more ideas, just google 'images of Tattered Lace Book' to see other cards people have made with this gorgeous die set.  I just used some glimmer card stock and embossed it.  I used Microsoft Word to print my sentiment on another sheet of glimmer card stock and used an oval die to cut it out and glue it onto a Spellbinder die.

I love the book mark in the Tattered Lace Book die set.  I used the smaller book mark and embossed it.  I added Make A Wish and used 3D 3L CORP foam pads to stick it onto the card.  Also, I bend each book page and added a few strips of Scor-Tape on each edge to keep its shape.  I had some adhesive peel border stickers and needed to glue the stickers to keep them from coming off again since the adhesive on the stickers weren't strong enough to stick to the embossed paper.

I added Wild Orchid craft flowers and made the pink roses from stunning Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose stamp and Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die sets. I love making flowers on my couch with my husband who is watching sports each night.

I used pink ink to stamp my roses and sponged more pink ink around the tip of each rose petal.  In the past, I used different sized petals in each rose but this time, I used the same size petals to make each rose including the bud in the roses.  In the past, I used tools to mold my flowers but since I was on the couch making them with my husband watching sports on TV,   I used my fingers to bend the ends of each petal and squished each petal before gluing the layers together to make each rose.  It really only took about a minute for each flower.

I wanted to share the difference of making roses (top two pink and white small roses) with all the same sized petals and the roses (bottom two roses, pink rose and white rose, made with the three sizes in this die set.

Wanted to show you this gorgeous NUVO-Crystal Drops-Morning Dew.  I added a few drops to this rose and the drops dry clear to look like morning dew on this rose.

What surprised me is how much I am using the leaf and vine die in this set.  It is so stunning with a rose or any flower in the middle of this cut out.  I used a dark green to stamp it out for this card and then used my fingers to mold each leaf which only takes about 30 seconds.

I am making another card for The Rubber Buggy and used gold card stock for this leaf.
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die Stamp

Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die Set

Isn't this a gorgeous stamp set from Heartfelt Creations called the Wild Orchid Stamp set for the inside of the card.  This was stamped with my Misti Stamp Tool (which I couldn't have done it without this tool) and colored with Copic makers.  This time, I used 1" Scor-Tape to stick the stamped and gold card stock to the inside of the card instead of gluing it so that it won't warp since it is larger than most of the insides of my cards.

I am not sure if this book die is meant to have an inside but I made it that way so that it will stand and I am able to add another sentiment inside the card with my name and message to wish my friend a happy birthday.

The Tattered Lace Essential Book die sets at The Rubber Buggy will sell out quickly.

Next Saturday, check out my Christmas book cards with the Tattered Lace Essential Book die set and Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas collection.  The following Saturdays,  I will be also making other Christmas book card for Baby's First Christmas for my daughter and hopefully get one made for puppy's First Christmas for my son.

Now it is your turn to try these products out from The Rubber Buggy and see what you create!

Tutti Designs Maple Vine Frame with Whimsy Stamp

Welcome!  I am so excited to share my first card with you for The Rubber Buggy store, The Rubber Buggy Blog and The Rubber Buggy Facebook.  The Rubber Buggy on-line store carries wonderful stamps, dies and supplies to give your project, scrap book pages and cards that "WOW" look.

Each day, one of our talented and creative designers from The Rubber Buggy blog and Facebook will share with you what they have created using wonderful and exciting supplies, dies and flowers from The Rubber Buggy Store.

I am Nancy Hill from Grangeville, Idaho and will be sharing each Saturday a project or card and information on the products used from The Rubber Buggy store.  This is a card that I made to share with you this Saturday using the new released Tutti Design dies.

Have you seen the new line of Tutti Designs die from The Rubber Buggy Store?  Aren't these dies just gorgeous and reasonably priced dies?
Tutti Designs - Maple Vine Frame

I just love this Tutti Designs Maple Vine Frame die.  It is so easy to cut out with any die cutting machine such as my Sizzix Big Shot and the pieces almost all fall out with a few taps on the garbage pale next to my craft desk.  I have been cutting this die out with white card stock and coloring the leaves with Copic Markers.  This frame die would go well for fall and Thanksgiving cards and really for any occasion.

I cut out the butterflies from the Tutti Designs Butterfly Arch.  I have used this die on various cards.

I used the gorgeous pattern paper, Lemon Craft House of Roses 6" x "6 paper pad with 24 one-sided papers and 12 designs from The Rubber Buggy store.  This pattern paper goes so well with my vintage and Shabby Chic projects and cards.  I plan to collect all of the Lemon Craft paper pads since the colors are so beautiful and the Lemon Craft House paper pads are so reasonably priced from The Rubber Buggy store.
Lemon Craft House of Roses

I colored the Whimsey Stamp Rowan Fairy with Copic Markers and used the
Ranger Ink-Liquid Pearls -Garnet from The Rubber Buggy that comes in a variety of colors.  For anyone who is new to Liquid Pearls, it adds a gorgeous 3D pearlescent color that dries on paper and on fabric. I use an end of a thin wire of a  Wild Flowers Craft flower or hat pin to stick down the tip of the Liquid Pearl sometimes when the liquid doesn't flow well because it may have become too thick.

Don't worry if you get a small tip on the dot after using the Liquid Pearl since it is so thick. I have tapped my card to get the tip to go away or after it dries, just use the tips of your scissors to cut the tiny tip off  the dot.  Another fantastic product that The Rubber Buggy lso sells is the Ranger Ice Stickles that could also be used for this card if I wanted to add a little bit more bling.  Over the years, I collected a variety of colors of the Ranger Liquid Pearls and Ranger Ice Stickles to use to finish my projects and cards.  Do this step last since the drying time takes a while but definitely worth the WAIT!

For those that know me, I love finishing my projects with flowers, bows and ribbon.  I love making my own flowers but when these flowers don't turn out well, I always resort to the Wild Orchid Craft flowers.  The Rubber Store carries a variety of Wild Orchid Craft flowers that look fantastic on any project, scrap book page or card.

Lately, I have been using a lot of 3D Crafty Foam Tape by Scrapbook Adhesive for the outside frames to give it a shadow box appearance to my cards.  I attach all of my ribbons with the Scor-Pal Scor-Tape since I can remove the bow or parts of the ribbon off the tape a few times to arrange it better and the tape remains sticky.

The Rubber Buggy sells a variety of color of Bazzill card stock.  I love the quality, colors and durability of Bazzill card stock.

Thank you for stopping by and would appreciate a comment.

Most of all, check out the new releases and wonder scrap book and card making supplies at The Rubber Buggy on-line store today.

Vintage Purple Card

Thank you for stopping by and reading about my card.  Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog has an exciting challenge for you called "Vintage" with ribbon and/or trim theme.

I just love the ole time cards with the frilly and lacy ribbons with the aged ole paper.  I have made a vintage card to share with you.  I am loving the purple and cream colors this year and had this paper from an ole stash without a brand name on it and started brain storming on how to make this into vintage card.

I make some vintage cards but I am learning by designers who are fabulous at making vintage cards on  how I can add more of their techniques to my vintage cards.  I noticed that most of these designers were using the lace and frilly ribbon.  They distressed the edges of the papers and sponged different colored inks to give the paper the aged look.

I didn't have the exact colored seam binding ribbon so I used the 1/2" wide cream seam binding ribbon  from Really Reasonable Ribbon and sponged some lavender ink on the ribbon to give it an antique look as well as blending better with the colors of the paper.  I used the Zutter Bow It All to make my bow and used an antique looking pearl brad for the center.  If you don't have the Zutter Bow It All, please view Bonnie Garby's You Tube Video to get started on how to use this fantastic bow maker to made fabulous bows.

I made my own hat pin and stuck it in the center of the bow.  The seam binding ribbon was attached to the card with 3/8" Scor-Tape from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

You have heard this from me before but I love the Scor-Tape to stick my bows and ribbons on my cards.  If I make a mistake on the arrangement of the bow or ribbon, I can peel the ribbon or bow off and reset it again several times since the Scor-Tape remains sticky.

I used a paper distress tool for the edges of the printed paper and then wet the edges with water to give it the edges an old look.  I used Ranger Distress ink and sponged it around the center frames with the sentiment.

I added the Wild Orchid Craft flowers and made the angels from a mold.  I added a white feather around the bow since women in the 1800s wore feathers in their hats.

Supplies:
Sue Wilson Design-California Collection-Decorative Frame B
 Sue Wilson Design-Scandinavian Collection-Copenhagen
Sue Wilson Design-Laced Edge Leaves
Ribbon:  Cream Seam Binding ribbon
3/8" Scor-Tape
Wild Orchid Crafts
Cheery Lynn Design - Small Butterfly set #1
Angels that I made from molds and hat pin I made using various jewelry beads and a hat pin
Brazzill cardstock

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Welcome back and I hope you are enjoying our new challenge with Scrapy Land Blog this week - Anything Goes. Come see what our wonderful Scrapy Land designers have to share with you.
Thank you again for sharing your beautiful cards on the Scrapy Land Challenge and we enjoy seeing what you have created besides learning so much you.

I want to share the card that I made for my one of my card-making friends using the gorgeous Sue Wilson Designs dies that were purchased at Scrapy Land.com.  I used the Sue Wilson Designs-California Collection- Decorative Frame A and Decorative Frame B and behind these frames is the gorgeous Sue Wilson Designs-Scandinavian Collection-Copenhagan.  I would highly recommend that you buy both the Decorative Frame A and Decorative Frame B  since these die sets layer well together.

Using gold metallic card stock paper, I cut out three Sue Wilson Designs-Striplet-Emroidered dies using all three dies in this set.  I used the main die and cut three times on the fold white card and glued each gold die onto each cut.

I glued a 1/2" wide ivory satin ribbon on the striplet and made a double bow with a rhinestone heart ribbon slider buckle in the middle.  I put together a hat pin and glued it in the middle of the bow.

I love the Sue Wilson Designs-Lace Edge Leaves for my vintage cards.  The white butterfly next to the Wild Orchid Craft flowers is from the Sue Wilson Designs-Delicate Garden Frame set.  I use this butterfly often since this butterfly is about the size I want for many of my cards.

I make my own angels from a mold and the double hearts came from the wedding department at Walmart.

I would appreciate a comment to my card and hope you are having a wonderful spring time with your family and friends.   Now it is your turn to share you beautiful card or project with us on the  Scrapyland blog.

Wedding Purse gift bag

Welcome back and I am so excited to share with you the beautiful ribbons and supplies from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the wedding gift box or favor for a wedding or wedding shower that I made today.

I love preparing gift items for weddings, baby showers and birthdays using my gorgeous ribbons, card stock papers, stamps and dies.  It didn't take me much time to made this wedding gift bow.

I used one of my favorite Mid Ruffle Satin red ribbons (shown below) and 1 1/2" wide Silky Crush White ribbon.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has a nice selection of colors of the Silky Crush ribbon and I love how this ribbon was easy to use to make this bow.  I used the 1" Scor-Tape from Really Reasonable Ribbon to stick the bow onto the front and the ribbon on the handle.  I love using this Scor-Tape for all of my bows and ribbons since it is easy to take the bow off of the tape or arrange the ribbon of the bow and reapply it onto the Scor-Tape that was stuck to the paper.

I glued a flat back rhinestone pearl button in the center of this bow.  The Wild Orchid roses and berries are sold at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I could not have made this beautiful bow without the Zutter Bow It All bow maker from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Since having the Zutter Bow it All, I have made every bow and now buy this for my friends for Christmas or their birthdays.  They are all using it for making their bows and very happy with this.

Mid Ruffle Satin red ribbon

The 7/8" Mid Ruffle satin ribbon is gorgeous and makes very nice bows.  It comes in six colors.
Other supplies used:
Red foil card stock
White shimmer card stock
Sue Wilson Design Lace Edge Leaf die

Easter Tags in a Card

I am Nancy and it is time for the exciting March Blog Hop. You should be coming to my blog from Bonnie.   Wasn't her card just beautiful.

Really Reasonable Ribbon has a selection of gorgeous ribbon in March's Ribbon Club

I made this pocket card to fit four book markers that will be given to each of my grand children in this family.   I had a lot of fun thinking about what papers and ribbons for each of my tags since there re one boy and three girls in this family.
The gorgeous ribbon for the bow is the 5/8" Diamond Satin Apple Green with a 8mm ribbon slider buckle.  I made this bow with the Zutter Bow-It-All bow maker and able to slide the ribbon in the middle of the bow before tying the ribbon in back of the bow while still in the bow maker.   I attached the bow to the card using the 3/8" Scor-Tape from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The gorgeous flowers are the Wild Orchid Craft flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The tags were made with Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Collection paper and a Stampin Up tag punch.  Each tag has the same poem "Foot Prints in the Sand" on the back.  The front of the tag has the Heart Felt Creations Cross and Lily die with the Cheery Lynn Designs Polynesian Sails Oval Doily.  These ribbons were attached to the tag with a pearl brad:

Above is the pocket card without the tags
and below is the back of the card.

I folded white cardstock paper and cut out the Heart Felt Creation Decorative Bloom Corner die and glued it to the back of the pocket card so that this card will stand upward.  My daughter is able to display this card on her fireplace mantle or the bookshelf during Easter time with this stand attached to the back of the card.

Just For You

Welcome to Really Reasonable Ribbon blog and today is my day to show you what I have created for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I love working with pinks and corals this time of year with the beginning of spring.  This gorgeous ribbon is the light satin coral with the gorgeous Wild Orchid Craft flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This absolutely gorgeous ribbon is the 7/8" Double-faced Satin Light Coral.  Since my grand daughters and their friends love lots of bling, glitter and sparkles, I added the rhinestone ribbon slider buckle to the bow and lots of gorgeous pink glitter to the butterfly and coral colored frame.
Of course, I couldn't have made this bow especially with the ribbon slider buckle added to the center of the bow without the Zutter Bow-It-All V2 from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I find that I spend less time making my bows and each one comes out looking more professional using the Zutter Bow-It-All bow maker with the Helping Hand pegs.
