So Glad You're My Friend

Welcome back bloggers and I am excited to share my card with you using  this gorgeous 7/8" Double Faced Satin Old Gold ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used the Zutter Bow It All bow maker from Really Reasonable Ribbon to make this bow and added an antique gold brad with a pearl in the center of the bow.  The Zutter Bow It All comes with instructions on how to make this bow as well as Bonnie Garby has fantastic U-Tube video on line.

I highly recommend using the Scor-Tape from Really Reasonable Ribbon to apply your ribbons and bows onto your cards.  The tape remains sticky to take the ribbon or bow off and on your card until you get the ribbon and bow arranged the way you like it.

Also from Really Reasonable Ribbon are the gorgeous Wild Orchid Craft flowers that were used on this card.

Other supplies:
Sue Wilson Designs die:  Ornate Oval My Friend
Sue Wilson Designs embossing folder: Pin Point
Crafter's Companion:  White Gold Glimmer card stock

Autumn Card

Welcome back Tutti bloggers.  I am excited to share with you this gorgeous Maple Vine Frame from Tutti Designs.  It was easy to cut out and I used Copic markers to color the leaves and vines.  Afterwards, I used a clear embossing powder over the leaves and vines to give it a little shimmer.

I added an Antique Gold seam binding ribbon bow and Wild Orchid Craft daisy in the center of the bow.

You'll want to be sure to pop over to the *NEW* Tutti Designs Store and check out all the beautiful dies in their first release.

Tutti Designs Dove Circle Die

I used a gold mirror card stock for the Tutti Designs Dove Circle and  Sue Wilson Noble Square die frame around the card.  I love the Sue Wilson pierced die sets.

Sue Wilson Noble Square
I embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment with Ranger Gold Detail embossing powder on a separate circle before gluing the Tutti Designs Dove Circle on the circle and then addingTombow 3D foam tape on the back to stick it on the card.  I added the 1.5" wide May Arts Silky Crushed white ribbon and added an antique pearl brad in the middle of the bow.  The embossing folder is my favorite and it is the

Get Well Soon

Today is Tuesday and my day to share with you my card that I made with the gorgeous Tutti Designs dies.

I will explain in step-by-step how I made this card using the gorgeous Butterfly Arch  and Dove Circle from Tutti Designs.

1.  Cut a rectangle 5" x 6 1/4"  using a pink card stock for the back.
2.  Cut a rectangle of pattern paper like the Maja Design cardstock of 4 3/4" x 11"
3.  Score the pattern card stock on each side 2 3/4" and fold.
4.  Glue the back of the pattern card in the center of the pink card stock.
5.  Cut out two Butterfly Arch die cuts.
6.  Glue the tips of the Butterfly Arch on the front card, do not glue the entire Butterfly Arch on each side of the card since you will want some 3D appearance.
7.  Cut out two small magnetic strips on the tips of the butterfly arch (Optional) if you don't want to slide the other end of the card into one tip of the Butterfly Arch on the card to keep the card closed.
8.  Make a bow and glue it on the left side of the card on the tip of the Butterfly Arch.
9.  Stamp in the center on the inside of the card.
10.  Cut out one Dove Circle and glue it around your stamp.
11.  I took a strip of Maja Design card stock and glued it on the top and bottom of the inside.
12.  Optional:  Add a sentiment to the front of the card.

You'll want to be sure to pop over to the *NEW* Tutti Designs Store and check out all the beautiful dies in their first release.

Scent Of Lavender

I love the colors of lavender and orchid this year and Really Reasonable Ribbon has the variety of ribbon and supplies for your project or card.  I love the seam binding colors of Sun Rose and  Vivid Pink for this bow and used the Zutter Bow It All to put these bow together with these two seam binding colored ribbons.  I use the Scor-Tape to attach the bow to the card.  I love using this Scor-Tape in case I want to rearrange the bow on this tape and the adhesive tape will still remain sticky.

I love adding vintage buckle sliders or brads to my bows on my vintage or Shabby Chic cards.  Also, I made this hat pin since many women use to have hat pins in their gorgeous hats.

Other supplies used:  Cheery Lynn Designs Polynesian Sails Oval die, Sue Wilson Designs - Camellia Flowers, Marianne Designs Flourish,  Pion Designs Scent of Lavender card stock, Sue Wilson Designs - Double Pierced Nobel Rectangle, 3mm flat back pearls.

Come join the fun with Really Reasonable Ribbon challenges and you might become the next winner.  The Really Reasonable Ribbon design team really appreciates all of your comments as well as seeing your beautiful cards posted on these challenges.  Our design team members have new cards posted each day on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Facebook of inspiring ways of using these gorgeous ribbons along with the other stunning flowers and supplies to give your card that "WOW!" look.

Poppy Card

Welcome back Tutti bloggers.  I am using the stunning Tutti Designs Poppy die.  I cut out two of these dies using moss green card stock and made some poppies out of crepe paper to add to the back of the original die cut flowers.  I added 3D foam dots to the poppy bulbs to bring out the 3D and used  Copic markers for the shading of the bulbs. The crepe paper poppies were made using  old punches and the butterfly was made with a butterfly punch and colored with Copic markers.   The card stocks are Pion Designs and Bazzill.  I found some old burlap bag and cut it up to make the bow.

Burlap Flowers using Flower Dies

Welcome back Scrapy Land bloggers and what an exciting challenge today on our Scrapy Land Blog-Anything Goes.  I am so excited today to share with you how I made my burlap flowers using the dies from three flower dies sets of Sue Wilson Designs:  Exquisite Poppy set, Orange Blossom and Camellia that were all purchased at Scrapy Land.com.  Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.

Using my technique, you can cut out burlap without the material falling apart.  Please view my Snap Guide tutorial and soon, you will be having fun making flowers from burlap.  After using individual flower dies and flower die strips, the individual flower dies cut through the burlap and the burlap didn't unravel.  I even used the same technique cutting out the leaves using burlap and then coloring each one with my stamping ink.

Other dies used from Scrapy Land:  Cheery Lynn Chicken Wire, Cheery Lynn Horizontal Banner.

Thank you for joining us at Scrapy Land and keep visiting the
Scrapy Land Face Book and Scrapy Land Blog to continue to see the wonderful projects and cards that the designers have for you.  Come join the fun and post your card.

Can't wait to see what you have created for our current challenge at Scrapy Land -Anything Goes.  Also, a big Thank You for all of you who have visited the designers blogs and left comments.  We really appreciate all of you!!!

Tutti Designs Dove Circle

Welcome back and hope you are as thrilled with your Tutti Designs dies as the rest of us.  Hi, I am Nancy Hill and Tuesdays are my days to post for Tutti Designs.  Keep visiting Tutti Designs during the week to see what our creative Tutti Designers have to share with you.

This is the gorgeous Tutti Designs die - Dove Circle.  Last month, I used this same die for a wedding card.  Wouldn't this be perfect for an Easter card as well.

Tutti DesignsDove Circle

I cut a circle and embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment.  I used silver mirror card stock for the Tutti Designs Dove Circle and frame.  I used 3D foam tape to attached the circle with the die cut on the card.

I added 3mm flat back pearls on the frame.  The bow is 1.5" wide May Arts Crushed white ribbon and used a rhinestone/pearl buckled ribbon in the middle.  I attached the bow with 1" wide adhesive double-sided tape.
