Happy Thanksgiving and Nancy, here.  My Thanksgiving was stocking up with the The Photo Play Gnome for Thanksgiving Collection with sunflowers, leaves, birch trees, gnomes, a cornucopia, and more to make a variety of cards and projects.  The Photo Play Gnomes for Thanksgiving stickers that can be purchased separately or in the The Photo Play Gnome for Thanksgiving Collection pack.

To see a closer look at these cards, click on HERE for a short U-Tube video.

Below is an card posted earlier this month made with the Photo Play Gnomes for Thanksgiving stickers.

Each card measures 5" x 7" and adhered with the Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced glue. I didn't realize until after my cards were made that Photo Play had a newer Thanksgiving paper collection, therefore, your plaids will be found the newer paper collection which is gorgeous.   I handmade the flowers with an ole sunflower die with yellow cardstock and sponged on Ranger Distress Ink Crackling Campfire ink around the center of the petals.  Behind the flowers are The May Art Jute Burlap twine and a plaid ribbon.  I finished the card using the sequences in the 28 Lilac Lane Shaker Mix - Safari Sunrise.   Below each photo are the buttons, beads and sequences in this mix.

Ciao Bella Frozen Roses Card

Welcome and has winter arrived in your area?  Nancy, here, and  I can really feel winter has come to our town with the two feet of snow.  The Ciao Bella Frozen Roses patterned paper is a reminder of the gorgeous beginning of winter of frosting on the last rosebuds, gold finches flying on a frozen fountain and an adorable white musk with white cotton snow under his feet.  This beautiful collection along with other gorgeous Ciao Bella collections are available at The Rubber Buggy online and retail store.
Ciao Bella Frozen Roses

Can you imagine what you would like to create with these beautiful wintery scenes for your next project.  This collection also is available in single sheets at The Rubber Buggy.

I cut out the circle and added a white doily die cut behind it.  I fussy cut the lantern and roses and layered it around the circle.
I added Wild Orchid Craft 10mm rose and used the NUVO Crystal Glitter-White Blizzard (my all time favorite) on each rose and pine cone and throughout the card to coordinate with the frozen roses in the pattern paper.  This glitter appears as frost or snow when applied to my cards.  I am so happy that The Rubber Buggy was able to restock the NUVO White Blizzard since I use this as the last touch to complete a wintery or Christmas card.

I adhered the card with Beacon 3-n-1 Advanced Glue.

I love the beautiful frame with the sentiment that is included in the Ciao Bella Frozen Roses paper collection along with the beautiful birds scene on the left side.  I scan the paper and pasted the sentiment to this paper before printing it out.  I love to do this to really personalize the inside of a card.

Lawn Fawn Sweet Den Snow Globe

Hope your weekend will be beary cozy with this cute set of bears! Today, Nancy, here to share a  Christmas card with a fun interactive snow globe!  I am so excited to share with you  available at The Rubber Buggy of the new arrivals of the Lawn Fawn Sweet Den bear stamp set with the coordinating cozy den from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Dens die set.  Combined the cute bears from Lawn Fawn Den Sweet and Lawn Fawn Snow Much Fun to create adorable Christmas and winter theme cards.

The Lawn Fawn Magic Iris die set creates an iris that opens and closes when you turn the tab! It’s perfect for making impressive cards that reveal a surprise image or sentiment when it opens moving the tab with the arrow.

Tip #1:  To assemble a Lawn Fawn Magic Iris wheel for the first time, I would recommend to view the Lawn Fawn Magic Iris at Lawn Fawn.com, click HERE and view my printable tutorial of how I do my Lawn Fawn Magic Iris, click HERE.  I am always reviewing my print out tutorial since there are little details that go with each of the layers of this reveal wheel which is easy to miss.  In the beginning, I had the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel assembled and glued on the card and then it didn't move due to missing one step of the assembling of the wheel.  Therefore, I had to tear it apart and start over again.

Here is some additional helpful tips that I am using this year.

Tip #2:  I stamp the Lawn Fawn stamps on a 4 1/2" x 11 cardstock and color.  I print this on both sides of 80 lbs cardstock and store the original colored stamped cardstock in my Lawn Fawn folder with the stamp set in a sheet protection sleeve.  Then cut the print out copy using the coordinating die set or fussy cut but I have to use my Brothers Scan and Cut machine since I am struggling with cutting these small stamp images.  This tip of copying, printing and cutting these out immediately continues of flow of thinking rather getting off track to color, cut, etc. Additionally to having your grand kiddos of children to do their cards, my 4 year old grandson open us these folders of stamped and cut critters to make his own cards each day.

Tip #3:  You will want to use the Micro Mini dots to assemble one part of the magic iris.  In my first card, I discovered that my old mini glue dots lost most of its adhesiveness after assembling the card and in a short time, the opening broke.

The stamped images from Lawn Fawn Den, Lawn Fawn Ho Ho Holiday, and Lawn Fawn Snow Globe Scene stamp sets were colored with Copic Markers. I used NUVO Gloss White drops for the snow fall for the center of the snow globe.

Tip #4: I like to apply the NUVO drops at night or last thing on the card in order to harden the most about 24 hours.  It dries sooner than 24 hours, but over the years of working with NUVO drops, I found that these drops don't harden enough and will flatten or change shapes  fter applying the drops and thinking these drops are dry.

I cut out the Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Snow Globe with white cardstock and silver metallic cardstock.  The gorgeous Distress Oxide ink blending on the snow globe and the background adds wonderful color to this festive Christmas card!  I sponged on Ranger Distress Wilted Violet ink on the globe and used a paint brush dabbed with white acrylic paint to sprinkle on the falling snow on the globe. I cut out the top part of the snow globe adhered it to the silver metallic snow globe die cut.

Tip #5:  Just add a tip of white acrylic paint to a fine paint brush and tap on the tip of the brush to add the snow falling from the sky.

I cut out the Lawn Fawn Fall Fling paper using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Frame largest die in this set and adhered the reveal wheel to the card with Beacon 3-n-1 Advanced glue.
