Lawn Fawn Dad and Me Birthday Card

Welcome back and hope you are having a very nice August weekend.  This time of year it is hot outside so get into your  craft room where it is much cooler and start crafting.  I am excited to sharing this Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel birthday card made for my nephew with the adorable Lawn Fawn stamp and die sets. The Rubber Buggy has all of the name-brand supplies and products for your next crafting project and cards.  Check out the newly arrived products each day and get your orders in early while supplies last.
I always have fun creating cards like this one.  It puts a smile on my face whenever I start working with these little critters from Lawn Fawn Dad and Me Stamp Set.  I used Copic Markers for these critters, fish and the Lawn Fawn Rainbow.

I cut out the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel  with shimmer cardstock.  I sponged on Ranger Distress Tumbled Glass ink in the shimmer cardstock and then used an retired sun embossing folder that is similar to Lawn Fawn Sun Embossing folder through my Sizzix Big Shot.  I sponged on Lawn Fawn Sunflower Yellow ink around the sun rays.I used the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Friends and Family Sentiments stamp set

I cut out the cloud with the Lawn Fawn Simply Puffy Clouds  and glued the frame behind the reveal wheel frame.  I cut out the circle in the Lawn Fawn and stamped the sentiments with the Lawn Fawn stamp on the circle.  First, I traced the cloud on the circle and then stamped the sentiments using a stamp tool until I got the desired amount of black ink on the sentiment.  I used my ole Misti stamp tool and now Tim Holtz makes a wonderful stamp tool that works the same way.

Below is a whole rainbow but I just used the smallest of the 4 rays this time and colored each ray with the two colors of the rainbow.

I adhered two additional Lawn Fawn dies in the scene, Lawn Fawn Stitched Mountains Border and Lawn Fawn Grassy Border. I made my own glitter cardstock - easy peasy.

I adhered the card with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame .  I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink with the Lawn Fawn Wheel Friends and Family Sentiments stamp for the sentiment.  Also, I used the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Arc Frame Die arrows for the side of the wheel.

I tied jute around the card twice and tied the ends into a bow.  I used Beacon 3 n 1 Advanced glue for the entire card as well as to adhere the jute with the bow to the front of the card.

Enjoy and Happy Crafting!
