Welcome back and Nancy, here. The perfect start for a male birthday card is creating with the Stamperia Cosmos Infinity collection! I have so many hunters and fishermen in my family which makes this collection ideal for creating birthday and projects for them. The Stamperia Cosmos collection includes cardstock sold in the pads or individually, coordinating forest nature and animal chipboards, stencils, stamps, decoupage papers and rice paper.
Inside:- I cut out 10" x 7" Stamperia Cosmos cardstock, scored in center and glued to the inside base of the card.
- Typed the sentiment with font in dark brown.
- Print on cream cardstock in Microsoft Word.
- Tear the sides of the cream cardstock around the sentiment with your fingers.
- Brushed on Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Vintage Photo and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ground Espresso ink around the edges of the sentiment to give it a rustic appearance. Glue to card with Beacon 3-n-1 Advanced glue.
Front:
- Cut out 5" x 7" wooden cardstock from the collection and adhere with glue to the front base of the card.
- Cut out the owl journal card from the collection and adhere to a 4" x 6" My Colors black cardstock and glue to front of card.
- Cut out a banner from the cardstock at 1 1/2" x 5 3/4" and use the Scrapbook Adhesive 3D Foam Strip behind the banner and adhere to card.
- Cut out a Poppystamps Celebrate die cut and glue to banner
- Glue the chipboard to side of banner.
- I made my gold star with epoxy resin the the Prima Marketing mould-Nocturnal Elements and painted with Prima Marketing Chest Of Gold acrylic paint. Glue to card.
