I love making flowers and during these winter days and love working with these gorgeous dies purchased at The Rubber Buggy that carries name brand dies, stamps and other crafting supplies.
I thought of making this card for someone who is suffering from cancer and will have this card with gorgeous hand made flowers next to her bed. Also, this card would be used for a sympathy card.

My Daughter
Let's Craft and Create has another exciting challenge #121
"Things With Wings". I hope you join us this month. We enjoy seeing all of the wonderful cards and crafts posted each month.
I made a book card with the Tattered Lace Essential Book die set which I was able to find at The Rubber Buggy Store. I used the Cheery Lynn Lace Flourish Butterfly die.
I just love the Maja Design Vintage Romance Engagement card stock. I used lavender card stock behind the front frame and used self adhesive strip borders around each book die frame.
I always have flowers and ribbons on my card. This is a rose colored seam binding ribbon with a Wild Orchid Craft rose in the center. I added the Sue Wilson Designs Lace Edge Leaves around the bow.
I typed and printed the sentiment on card stock and cut it out with the Sue Wilson Design California Decorative Frame B.

Merry Christmas Card
I hope your family and you will have a Very Merry Christmas.
Hopefully, you gave Santa your list after checking out all of the gorgeous supplies, dies, and stamps at The Rubber Buggy on-line store. Don't forget the wonderful tools like the Misti-My Sweet Petunia stamp tools that come in different sizes. If you never had the Misti stamp tool and Santa gave you one, you will ask yourself
"WHY DIDN'T ASK SANTA A LONG TIME AGO FOR THIS!!!"

I struggled with stamps and ink until I got the Misti Stamp Tool. No mistakes or light stamping now!!!
The Rubber Buggy, and retailers struggle getting this die from Tattered Lace since it is in high demand. I would suggest getting it now before The Rubber Buggy is out of this die set. Just look at all of the dies in this set and the different sizes of books you could make along with the very adorable book marker dies.

I added the NUVO-Glitter Paste-Moonstone to this photo. Doesn't this glitter paste look so much like snow. Also, I like how this same glitter lights up the trees behind the girl.

Twelve Days of Christmas Book Card
I love making a personal Christmas card for each person. What a great way to try something different and make a book card using the fantastic
Also, I bend each book page and added premium double side adhesive 1/4 "Scor-Tape on each of the pages to hold its book shape.
I cut out the drum on this patterned paper and added NUVO Crystal Glitter Drops Golden Sunset to the drum and used 3D CORP Crafty foam tape to tape it to the card. The 3D foam tape makes it stand out more.
I just love the NUVO products and I added the beautiful NUVO Crystal Drops Glitter Sherbert Shimmer dots around the Spellbinder oval frame. I love how the NUVO drops dry fast and stay rounded without going flat nor does will it have a point to it when I apply it to my cards.

I used pink ink to stamp my roses and sponged more pink ink around the tip of the rose petal. I used the same size petals to make each rose including the bud in the rose. I used my fingers to bend the ends of each petal and squished each petal before gluing the layers together to make this rose. It really only took about a minute to make this flower.
I am not sure if this book die is meant to have an inside but I made it that way so that it will stand and I am able to add another sentiment inside the card with my name.
I have made a book card last Saturday and if you missed it, just click HERE. The following Saturdays, I will be also making other Christmas book card for Baby's First Christmas for my daughter and hopefully get one made for puppy's First Christmas for my son.
The Tattered Lace Essential Book die sets at The Rubber Buggy will sell out quickly!!!

Happy Birthday with the Tattered Lace Essential Book die set
BELIEVE ME!
Just look at how many dies are in this set and the gorgeous scrap book pages and cards that you can make. For more ideas, just google 'images of Tattered Lace Book' to see other cards people have made with this gorgeous die set. I just used some glimmer card stock and embossed it. I used Microsoft Word to print my sentiment on another sheet of glimmer card stock and used an oval die to cut it out and glue it onto a Spellbinder die.

I love the book mark in the Tattered Lace Book die set. I used the smaller book mark and embossed it. I added Make A Wish and used 3D 3L CORP foam pads to stick it onto the card. Also, I bend each book page and added a few strips of Scor-Tape on each edge to keep its shape. I had some adhesive peel border stickers and needed to glue the stickers to keep them from coming off again since the adhesive on the stickers weren't strong enough to stick to the embossed paper.
I added Wild Orchid craft flowers and made the pink roses from stunning Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose stamp and Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die sets. I love making flowers on my couch with my husband who is watching sports each night.
I used pink ink to stamp my roses and sponged more pink ink around the tip of each rose petal. In the past, I used different sized petals in each rose but this time, I used the same size petals to make each rose including the bud in the roses. In the past, I used tools to mold my flowers but since I was on the couch making them with my husband watching sports on TV, I used my fingers to bend the ends of each petal and squished each petal before gluing the layers together to make each rose. It really only took about a minute for each flower.
I wanted to share the difference of making roses (top two pink and white small roses) with all the same sized petals and the roses (bottom two roses, pink rose and white rose, made with the three sizes in this die set.
Wanted to show you this gorgeous NUVO-Crystal Drops-Morning Dew. I added a few drops to this rose and the drops dry clear to look like morning dew on this rose.
What surprised me is how much I am using the leaf and vine die in this set. It is so stunning with a rose or any flower in the middle of this cut out. I used a dark green to stamp it out for this card and then used my fingers to mold each leaf which only takes about 30 seconds.
I am making another card for The Rubber Buggy and used gold card stock for this leaf. ![]() |

Isn't this a gorgeous stamp set from Heartfelt Creations called the Wild Orchid Stamp set for the inside of the card. This was stamped with my Misti Stamp Tool (which I couldn't have done it without this tool) and colored with Copic makers. This time, I used 1" Scor-Tape to stick the stamped and gold card stock to the inside of the card instead of gluing it so that it won't warp since it is larger than most of the insides of my cards.
I am not sure if this book die is meant to have an inside but I made it that way so that it will stand and I am able to add another sentiment inside the card with my name and message to wish my friend a happy birthday.
The Tattered Lace Essential Book die sets at The Rubber Buggy will sell out quickly.
Next Saturday, check out my Christmas book cards with the Tattered Lace Essential Book die set and Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas collection. The following Saturdays, I will be also making other Christmas book card for Baby's First Christmas for my daughter and hopefully get one made for puppy's First Christmas for my son.
