Pretty in Pink Valentine Candy Box

Welcome back!  Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog has a new and exciting challenge "Show Me the Pink".  I have created for you a candy or jewelry box for Valentine's Day.  I plan to make 7 different  candy boxes with different images and colors for each of my grand children and will be posting each one of my blog.  Keep following my blog to get the latest of Valentine boxes that I made but the most challenging one will the for the grandson.  My tutorial on making heart shape boxes is: Heart Shape Box Tutorial.

This Valentine box is done in pink for this challenge as well as most of my young grand daughters who love pink and lots of embellishments on their clothes, jewelry, etc.
I love this ribbon called Hot Pink Taffeta.  I made the bow using the Zutter Bow It All V2 and used the 1 inch Scor-Tape to attach it to the box.  I love using Scor-Tape to attach my ribbons and bows since I can arrange the bow on this tape.  The beautiful Wild Orchid Craft flowers are also from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  These flowers are easy to use and Really Reasonable Ribbon has a huge assortment of various flowers, ribbons, and supplies to make your project or card stand out.

I used the little Wee Stamp - Florist for this Valentine's box.  Since the image was smaller, I used colored pencils rather than Copic markers.  I made my own hat pin for this card.  The three dies used are the Cheery Lynn Heart-to-Heart, Cheery Lynn Butterfly Set #2, Sue Wilson-Finishing Touches-Delicate Fronds and Sue Wilson-Dandelions from Scrapy Land.com.  I cut one white and one pink Cheery Lynn Heart-to-Heart using all the dies in the set.  Make sure to put tape down each die using the entire set before running it through your die cutting machine to get the pink frames to come out even.  I embossed the pink frames with clear glitter embossing powder.
I used the 3/8" Quatrefoil Print on Hot Pink Satin ribbon on top of the white 5/8" Elastic Double Ruffle White ribbon.

The hot pink paper is from Bazzill and the plaid paper is Graphic 45.

The January Ribbon Club- Sweetheart Collection has the most gorgeous assortment of pink and white ribbons in this  set and there is still time to buy this beautiful set.  Also, join the club and get a surprisingly new set each month sent to you.

Sparkly happiness and lots of chocolate love involved in this beautiful creation, Miss Nancy! So cute with hearts on her blue jeans! Nancy, some time ago, I believe I mentioned something about sending you some product but it was while I wasn't feeling well, and now I cannot recall what it was that we were discussing! Do you remember? Hugs, de
