So Glad You're My Friend card

Welcome back to our new and exciting Scrapy Land Challenge #37 - Anything Goes using a brand-name die that Scrapy Land sells on their on-line store.

I love this Creative Expression-Sue Wilson-Ornate Oval My Friend set and it comes a total set of four dies.  I love this frame because many of the Sue Wilson sentiments will fit inside this frame and the frame was turned side ways for this card.  I used gold mirror cardstock for the gold circle inside the frame.

Creative Expression-Sue Wilson Designs-Corvus die.  This die comes in a set of 3 so that you can use cut out either side or both sides.  I used the bottom design of this die as shown on the picture below.  I used a gold mirror cardstock and white cardstock paper.
Creative Expression-Sue Wilson Designs- Finishing Touches- Dandelion Clocks and Petite Vinery.
I love these die sets and use pearls, rhinestones or glitter at the ends of the dandelions on various cards.

Love the Pink with Cupid

I am so excited to show you two absolutely gorgeous ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The Hot Pink Taffeta ribbon is stunning with this card and part of the Sweetheart Collection.  Of course, I couldn't have made this bow without the Zutter Bow-It-All V2.  Really Reasonable Ribbon also sales the gorgeous Wild Orchid Craft flowers at a very reasonable price.   I used 1" Scor-Tape from Really Reasonable Ribbon for the bow and flowers and 1/2" Scor-Tape for the Hearts in Line Pink Grosgrain Ribbon ribbon with the pearl heart.  Behind the bow and flowers, is the 1.5" pink netting.  I have been using different colors of netting behind my bows since it gives a delicate look to the bow and flowers.  If you haven't started using netting, start with the white and after you fall in love with it, Really Reasonable Ribbon offers a variety of gorgeous colors in the netting.

Polly's Paper Studio - With Sympathy Card

Welcome back to our special and exciting challenge this week.  This challenge is sponsored by Ginny's Polly's Paper Studio and we will feature projects using Ginny's collage sheets.  Ginny is one of the talented Really Reasonable Ribbon's designers and we are excited to show you some of the gorgeous digital collage sheets that can be ordered through Polly's Paper Studio as well as the beautiful ribbons, flowers and supplies through Really Reasonable Ribbon

The beautiful ribbon is the Lipstick Red seam binding ribbon and the Betsy White Crochet Lace.  I sponged distress colored pink on the white lace  to give it an aged look.  The 1.5" Scor-Tape was used to tape the bow on the card and glue was applied for the Wild Orchid Craft flowers.  All of these supplies came from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well as the Zutter Bow It All bow maker to make this bow.

I am using the Polly's Paper Studio - Floral Background Digital Collage set of 6 gorgeous backgrounds and the Pink Flower and Dots Background Collage Sheet set of 4 beautiful backgrounds.

The front of the card is one of set in the Floral Backgrounds.  I printed and cut it out and then scratched the edges.  I sponged on dark purple ink along with some pink to give it an old look.  I cut out a rust colored background and added Ranger Bronze Metallic embossing powder.  I used 3D foam to attach it to the polka dot background.

The polka dot background and rose/wood background are from the Pink Flower and Dots Background Collage Sheet.  After printing and cutting the background out, I tore the edges and sponged on heavier purple ink to give it more of a burnt edge.

The dies used on this card are:  Creative Wilson-Sue Wilson Design - With Sympathy, Cheery Lynn Designs - Flourish Leaf Strip, and Cheery Lynn Designs- Rose Leaf Strip.  I make my own angels using a mold.

I hope to have inspired you to visit Polly's Paper Studio and see their gorgeous vintage paper and supplies and also start ordering those gorgeous ribbons, especially the February Ribbon Club Assortment - Gorgeously Green Collection, and Wild Craft Flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon for those St. Patrick Day, Easter and springtime cards or projects.

Come join us at Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge and let's see what you have created.  This could also be your lucky day.

Peach Valentine Box

Welcome back and time is going by fast and already it is my day to share with you some beautiful ribbons and Wild Orchid Craft flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.com.  I hope you are keeping watch each day visiting the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to see what our fantastic designers have for you as well as participating in our challenges.

If you have been following my blog, I am making a variety of Valentine boxes filled with chocolate and jewelry  for each of my grand children, daughters, and daughter-in-laws.  The two boxes are my  Peach Valentine Box, one heart shape and the other square.  To see my tutorial on how to make heart shape boxes, click on:   Heart Shape Box Tutorial

I am loving the peach and lavender colors this year and this very gorgeous coral/peach ribbon is called the Double-Face Light Coral ribbon and it comes in four sizes.  I used the 1" size but will have to make sure that I have all of the sizes of ribbon and flowers in my stock since spring is coming and coral/peach colors are gorgeous for this time of year.  The beautiful and delicate lace ribbon is the 7/8" Betsy White Crochet Lace and behind the bow is the 1 1/2" white netting.   All of the variety of  Wild Orchid Craft flowers came from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Really Reasonable Ribbon sells the Scor-Tape and Zutter Bow It All V2 bow maker.  I used the 1.5" Scor-Tape to attach the bow onto the box.  I use this Scor-Tape to attach all of my bows since I can arrange the ribbon on the bow and move it around until I get the arrangement I want.  Afterwards, the ribbons on the bow stays in the exact place I want it.  I used the Zutter Bow It All V2 to make this two ribbon bow.

Seaming bind Cream ribbon and Pink Salmon ribbons.  Chloe Natural Crochet Lace and Wild Orchid Craft flowers.

Dies were Cheery Lynn frames:  Horizontal Circle Frame, Heart to Heart, and Butterfly Set#2.  Paper was Graphic 45.

Thank you for visiting  and I would appreciate your comment below.  Have a Happy Valentine's Day soon.

Pretty in Pink Valentine Candy Box

Welcome back!  Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog has a new and exciting challenge "Show Me the Pink".  I have created for you a candy or jewelry box for Valentine's Day.  I plan to make 7 different  candy boxes with different images and colors for each of my grand children and will be posting each one of my blog.  Keep following my blog to get the latest of Valentine boxes that I made but the most challenging one will the for the grandson.  My tutorial on making heart shape boxes is: Heart Shape Box Tutorial.

This Valentine box is done in pink for this challenge as well as most of my young grand daughters who love pink and lots of embellishments on their clothes, jewelry, etc.
I love this ribbon called Hot Pink Taffeta.  I made the bow using the Zutter Bow It All V2 and used the 1 inch Scor-Tape to attach it to the box.  I love using Scor-Tape to attach my ribbons and bows since I can arrange the bow on this tape.  The beautiful Wild Orchid Craft flowers are also from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  These flowers are easy to use and Really Reasonable Ribbon has a huge assortment of various flowers, ribbons, and supplies to make your project or card stand out.

I used the little Wee Stamp - Florist for this Valentine's box.  Since the image was smaller, I used colored pencils rather than Copic markers.  I made my own hat pin for this card.  The three dies used are the Cheery Lynn Heart-to-Heart, Cheery Lynn Butterfly Set #2, Sue Wilson-Finishing Touches-Delicate Fronds and Sue Wilson-Dandelions from Scrapy Land.com.  I cut one white and one pink Cheery Lynn Heart-to-Heart using all the dies in the set.  Make sure to put tape down each die using the entire set before running it through your die cutting machine to get the pink frames to come out even.  I embossed the pink frames with clear glitter embossing powder.
I used the 3/8" Quatrefoil Print on Hot Pink Satin ribbon on top of the white 5/8" Elastic Double Ruffle White ribbon.

The hot pink paper is from Bazzill and the plaid paper is Graphic 45.

Chocolate added to the inside of the heart box

Jewelry added to the inside of the heart box
The January Ribbon Club- Sweetheart Collection has the most gorgeous assortment of pink and white ribbons in this  set and there is still time to buy this beautiful set.  Also, join the club and get a surprisingly new set each month sent to you.

Red Valentine's Candy Box

Today is my day on Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, to share with you one of my seven  Valentine's chocolate or jewelry boxes that I made so far using the gorgeous ribbon, tape, flowers and the fantastic Zutter Bow It All V2 bow maker from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  To see how I made this heart shape box, visit my blog tutorial:  Heart Shape Box Tutorial

If you are following my blog, I am using different images, colors and ribbons on each Valentine's  box that I am making for each of my grand children.  I hope to have the tutorial on how to make the heart shaped boxes using the largest of the Cheery Lynn Heart to Heart die on my blog this coming week.  The Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge on January 22nd, another Valentine's box with a variety of different Wild Craft flowers, ribbons and images will be posted from my blog.

I love the red and white plaid ribbons with the 1 1/2" red netting behind the bow.  I always attach my bows with Scor-Tape.  Really Reasonable Ribbon offers a variety of Scor-Tape sizes.  I used 1 1/2" Scor-Tape for attaching most of my bows on cards and projects.  My bows are always formed using the Zutter Bow It All V2 bow maker.   The cute little hearts are from Impression Obsession-Heart Stem die, the gorgeous butterfly are from the Cheery Lynn Butterfly Set #2 and the green leaf stem is the Sue Wilson-Delicate Fronds.    The center die is the Cheery Lynn Heart To Heart set and the top and bottom of the heart shape box were cut from the largest of this die set.  I made this hat pin.

The side of this Valentine's heart box is the beautiful 5/8" Elastic Double Ruffle Red Plaid ribbon and behind it is the Sue Wilson- Scandinavian Border.

I am using some of these boxes for jewelry and the others for chocolates for Valentine's Day.

Welcome to the first Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog challenge for 2016 called Looky What I Got or Anything Goes.  Santa was good to me and I got some new dies this year.

Anniversary Card

Welcome back!  Hi, I am Nancy and I want to show you this absolutely gorgeous red ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon and share how I made this card with you.  This card is for a couple who is renewing their wedding vows.  I like to personalize my cards as much as possible so I was able to use their names in the middle of this beautiful heart.

The gorgeous red ribbon going down the card is the Stitched Sheer/Satin Ombre Red ribbon.  This ribbon comes in two other colors, royal blue and light blue.
Stitched Sheer/Satin Ombre Red
Lately, I have been using this ribbon often on Christmas card and plan to use it with the Valentine cards along with the Mid Ruffle Satin ribbons shown below.  This gorgeous ribbon is sheer on one half and double-faced satin on the other half with beautiful stitching running down the center.  You can see this on the photo above of the two sides of this ribbon.

The Mid Ruffle Satin Red also comes in black, green, pink, mauve and white.  I just wrapped this ribbon four times on my handy Zutter Bow-It-All V2 and it came out so nice and fluffy.
Satin Mid Ruffle Ribbon

I always use Scor-Tape from Really Reasonable Ribbon behind my bows and ribbons.  If I want to move parts of the ribbon on the bow, I can do it with the Scor Tape.  The Scor-Tape comes in several sizes and I used the 1 1/2 " behind this bow.  I added the Wild Orchid Craft flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon and added a charm that I got at a thrift store in town.

This card was embossed with the Sue Wilson Designs-Snow Lattice.  The following dies that were used from Scrapy Land.com:
