Gift and Card Envelope

Loads of fun creating a gift card envelope and hope you try this out.  I watched Heartfelt Creations tutorial and tried it out on my first envelope and then revised it to fit the fits that I plan to insert in these envelopes.  Most of my friends are paper crafters and I plan on inserting dies to give them for their birthdays and Christmas presents.

Just click below and it will take you to my tutorial on Snapguide.  This tutorial has several slides in it so I won't miss a step for you.  As they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words".  Therefore, I would rather have lots of pictures with instructions than just try to explain it in words.

Check out How to Create a Gift Card in Envelope by Nancy Hill on Snapguide.

This gift card envelope measures 5 1/2" x 7".  Below is the inside of the envelope.  Behind each flower is a magnet.  When you close the envelope, the magnets will stick.  Again, all of these instructions to make my gift card envelopes are in the Snap Guide.  Just click on the web link above.
This photo shows the folded cardstock inserted in the envelope.  This fold provides more space to add the gift.  I will be modifying the size of the envelopes in the future depending on the size of the gifts like a die, check or gift card.

This gift card envelope measures 7" x 9"
This is the inside of the gift card envelope.  This time, I just taped the magnets.  Depending on the strength of your magnets, you could glue each magnet under the paper.  This was my first gift card envelope and wasn't sure what I was going to use to keep the envelop closed.
