Valentine Box One

Nothing says Valentines more than hearts and flowers.  Valentines is just around the corner, Wednesday, February 14th, and an excellent time to show the ones you love how important they are by making them a personalized Valentine's heart box filled with chocolates and flowers on top of the box.

The Rubber Buggy on-line store has all of the paper crafting supplies that you will need for this project.  Also, new supplies are arriving each day so don't miss out on what is new and also the great clearance deals.
Here is my Snapguide tutorial on how to make these Valentine Boxes.

Since I didn't use heavy weight cardstock this time as per my instructions on the tutorial, I cut out four hearts and glued two of these hearts together for the top and bottom.

This time, I used a glue gun rather than Scor-Tape to adhere the hearts to the side but really prefer Scor-Tape on most of my boxes.

The flowers were shaped using the Heartfelt Creations Sunrise Lily die set with white foamiran foam colored with Elizabeth Craft PanPastel Flower Set #1 ink powder before gluing the flowers together with a hot glue gun.  I used a Copic Marker to put the dots on the inside of the flower.  If you haven't worked with foamiran, creating foamiran flowers with the Heartfelt Creations Sunrise Lily die is much easier to try first before stepping up to creating roses.

The paper and butterfly are from the Lemon Craft Violet Silence collection and I added NUVO Glitter pen to the butterfly.

I hope I have inspired you to make your Valentine's heart box using the gorgeous Lemon Craft Violet Silence along with the Heartfelt Creations Sunrise Lily die set that are in The Rubber Buggy on-line store right now but these supplies won't last!!!

Keep On Crafting!
