Twelve Days of Christmas Book Card

I love making a personal Christmas card for each person.  What a great way to try something different and make a book card using the fantastic

Just look at how many dies are in this set.  For more ideas, just google 'images of Tattered Lace Book' to see other cards people have made with this gorgeous die set.  I just used the beautiful Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas Collection and used an oval die to cut it out and glue it onto a Spellbinder die.

Also, I bend each book page and added  premium double side adhesive 1/4 "Scor-Tape on each of the pages to hold its book shape.

I cut out the drum on this patterned paper and added NUVO Crystal Glitter Drops Golden Sunset to the drum and used 3D CORP Crafty foam tape to tape it to the card.  The 3D foam tape makes it stand out more.

I just love the NUVO products and I added the beautiful NUVO Crystal Drops Glitter Sherbert Shimmer dots around the Spellbinder oval frame.  I love how the NUVO drops dry fast and stay rounded without going flat nor does will it have a point to it when I apply it to my cards.

NUVO Crystal Glitter Drops Sherbert Shimmer and NUVO Crystal Glitter Drops Golden Sunset
I added Wild Orchid craft flowers and made the pink rose from the gorgeous
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose stamp and Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die sets.

Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Stamp and Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die

I used pink ink to stamp my roses and sponged more pink ink around the tip of the rose petal.  I used the same size petals to make each rose including the bud in the rose.  I used my fingers to bend the ends of each petal and squished each petal before gluing the layers together to make this rose.  It really only took about a minute to make this flower.

I am not sure if this book die is meant to have an inside but I made it that way so that it will stand and I am able to add another sentiment inside the card with my name.

I have made a book card last Saturday and if you missed it, just click HERE.  The following Saturdays,  I will be also making other Christmas book card for Baby's First Christmas for my daughter and hopefully get one made for puppy's First Christmas for my son.

Hugs

Welcome back bloggers and it is my day and every Tuesday for posting a card or project made with Tutti Designs dies.  This is another new October released Tutti Designs dies called Swirly Hugs.   If you haven't viewed the new October arrivals, check it out by clicking HERE.

I would love to use the Tutti Designs Swirling Hugs die for Valentines, Thinking of You and even Get Well cards along with other occasions.  I would imagine you are even exploring other possibilities for your next card with this gorgeous die.

This die was very easy to cut out with red card stock.   I applied NUVO White Blizzard glitter drops on the HUGS to make it stand out.  I added a butterfly and a green seam binding bow to the Blue Fern Studios Blush Collection Sweetheart patterned paper.

I like adding extra frames behind the front of the card and used mint green and rose red Bazzill card stock.  My card is ready to send to a special person like my husband, children or grand children.

Happy Birthday with the Tattered Lace Essential Book die set

I am so excited to share with you this gorgeous Tattered Lace Die-Essential-Book.  I have been wanting this die set for a long long time- meaning a year now - and looked around but hard to find.  The Rubber Buggy on-line store was able to  get this die set in this month after and if you don't act fast, the Tattered Lace Die-Essential Book will be sold out fast and especially at this reasonable price that The Rubber Buggy is selling it for at this time.
BELIEVE ME!

Just look at how many dies are in this set and the gorgeous scrap book pages and cards that you can make.  For more ideas, just google 'images of Tattered Lace Book' to see other cards people have made with this gorgeous die set.  I just used some glimmer card stock and embossed it.  I used Microsoft Word to print my sentiment on another sheet of glimmer card stock and used an oval die to cut it out and glue it onto a Spellbinder die.

I love the book mark in the Tattered Lace Book die set.  I used the smaller book mark and embossed it.  I added Make A Wish and used 3D 3L CORP foam pads to stick it onto the card.  Also, I bend each book page and added a few strips of Scor-Tape on each edge to keep its shape.  I had some adhesive peel border stickers and needed to glue the stickers to keep them from coming off again since the adhesive on the stickers weren't strong enough to stick to the embossed paper.

I added Wild Orchid craft flowers and made the pink roses from stunning Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose stamp and Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die sets. I love making flowers on my couch with my husband who is watching sports each night.

I used pink ink to stamp my roses and sponged more pink ink around the tip of each rose petal.  In the past, I used different sized petals in each rose but this time, I used the same size petals to make each rose including the bud in the roses.  In the past, I used tools to mold my flowers but since I was on the couch making them with my husband watching sports on TV,   I used my fingers to bend the ends of each petal and squished each petal before gluing the layers together to make each rose.  It really only took about a minute for each flower.

I wanted to share the difference of making roses (top two pink and white small roses) with all the same sized petals and the roses (bottom two roses, pink rose and white rose, made with the three sizes in this die set.

Wanted to show you this gorgeous NUVO-Crystal Drops-Morning Dew.  I added a few drops to this rose and the drops dry clear to look like morning dew on this rose.

What surprised me is how much I am using the leaf and vine die in this set.  It is so stunning with a rose or any flower in the middle of this cut out.  I used a dark green to stamp it out for this card and then used my fingers to mold each leaf which only takes about 30 seconds.

I am making another card for The Rubber Buggy and used gold card stock for this leaf.
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die Stamp

Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die Set

Isn't this a gorgeous stamp set from Heartfelt Creations called the Wild Orchid Stamp set for the inside of the card.  This was stamped with my Misti Stamp Tool (which I couldn't have done it without this tool) and colored with Copic makers.  This time, I used 1" Scor-Tape to stick the stamped and gold card stock to the inside of the card instead of gluing it so that it won't warp since it is larger than most of the insides of my cards.

I am not sure if this book die is meant to have an inside but I made it that way so that it will stand and I am able to add another sentiment inside the card with my name and message to wish my friend a happy birthday.

The Tattered Lace Essential Book die sets at The Rubber Buggy will sell out quickly.

Get Well Soon Card

Welcome Back!  Hi, I am Nancy Hill and every Tuesday, I am sharing an inspirational card made with a Tutti Designs die.  Today, I made this card using a new November released Tutti Designs die called the Flower Orchestra Corner.  Isn't this another gorgeous Tutti Designs die that you would love to have for your next cards or projects.

I cut this die out with white card stock and colored the leaves and flowers with Copic markers.  I saved the flower pieces after cutting this die out and used tape to glue the pieces behind the three large flowers in this die.  I colored the pieces with Copic markers and added some streaks to make it look more of a flower.  I added  NUVO Crystal Drops to the center of each flower to add some dimension.

Most of the time, the die cuts are easy to get out of the Tutti Designs dies.  I just tap the die on top of a trash can or use a tool such as the Spellbinder Tool N One to get most of the pieces out of the die or die cut.   If you are having some problems, just put wax paper between the paper and die before cutting it out.

Afterwards, I use a spray adhesive like Aleene's Spray Adhesive for intricate die cuts rather than using a fast tacky glue.  Therefore, all of the parts of the die cut will stick to the card.

Normally, I add a bow or ribbon to most of my cards along with a sentiment.  I found a gorgeous antique gold seam binding ribbon and made this bow using a bow maker.  I made a rose with a rose/coral colored card stock to match the flowers on the pattern paper and die cut and glued it in the center of the bow.

Warm Winter Wishes

This is another little snowman Christmas card made with the wonder collection of Heartfelt Creations Snow Kissed paper, dies and stamps.  If you didn't see the last snowman Christmas card that I made, then click on  HERE.

The Heartfelt Creations Frolicking Frosty Snowmen stamp set and The Heartfelt Creations Frolicking Frosty Snowmen and Spruce die set coordinates with the Heartfelt Creations Snow Kissed Collection.  I colored the snowman with Copic makers and added NUVO Glitter Drops - White Blizzard to the the chipboard snow flakes.  The Rubber Buggy carried a variety of NUVO products and also check out the new arrivals such as the NUVO Jewel Drops.

The Rubber Buggy store just got in the fantastic NUVO Glimmer Paste-Moonstone which will go fast since it looks like snow.  I added it to the pine branches and our little snowman.  Don't wait long to order this NUVO Glimmer Paste Moonstone because it will go fast.

NUVO Glimmer Paste- Moonstone

I stamped the snow man and trees and cut it out with the dies.  I added the 3L CORP foam tape to the back of the snowman after embossing the background.  This foam tape comes in black or white and different widths from The Rubber Buggy.

Now it is your turn to try these products out from The Rubber Buggy and see what you create!

Fashion Shoe

Welcome back to my Tuesday's Tutti Design posting days.  I am so excited to share with you this gorgeous new October released Tutti Designs Floral Shoe.  Isn't this die a STUNNING one from Tutti Designs.

I like to embellish my die cuts at times,  a little 'much'.  Seeing the beautiful flowers and intricate details in this die, you could leave out the extra embellishments and still have a gorgeous shoe die cut on your card.  Be sure to check out Diane's sample cards using this die cut by clicking HERE to give you additional ideas on how to use this die cut.

I added some glitter and red sequels to the shoe.  I used a Sue Wilson Design flower die cut for the flowers and added 4mm flatback pearls and rhinestones to the center of the flowers.  I glued the shoe to a Graphic 45 Mon Amour card stock and added a tiny bow to the shoe.
